The BMW CE 04 might get a bigger battery and a more powerful electric motor, plus new shades as well.
BMW has released a new teaser showing the CE 04 nameplate, indicating that an updated iteration of the urban vehicle is in the works. The BMW CE 04 is one of the most radical, and futuristic-looking electric scooters on sale right now in India, and it also happens to be the most expensive option out there at a whopping ₹14.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While the teaser does not reveal much, it does show the CE 04 badging on a different colour which makes us believe that the electric scooter might receive a few new shades that currently includes just two – Avantgarde (Deep blue) and Light White.

In addition to that, BMW might also update the powertrain for more power and range. Currently, the CE 04 gets an 8.5 kWh battery that is good for a claimed range of 130 km on a single charge. The battery takes four hours to charge fully, but just an hour and forty minutes to do the same via a fast charger. The battery powers a 31 kW electric motor which reserves the potential to produce 61 Nm of peak torque at the wheel. That is good enough to accelerate from 0-50 kmph in 2.6 seconds.

Beyond that, feature-wise, the 2025 BMW CE 04 does not necessitate any addition as such. It already gets a massive 10.25-inch TFT display onboard, plus keyless ignition, three riding modes, traction control system, reverse functionality and much more. Its Star War-inspired design has always caught our attention, and hopefully BMW builds on the same and gives us an even more sharp, futuristic looking electric scooter. The details of which will be revealed on July 3.
