Vida has made its international debut by entering Nepal in partnership with CG Motors.

Hero MotoCorp's electric mobility brand, Vida, has officially inaugurated its international operations by entering the Nepalese market. The global rollout is being executed through a strategic distributor agreement with CG Motors, an automotive arm of Nepal's prominent conglomerate, the Chaudhary Group. The expansion builds upon Hero MotoCorp's established presence in Nepal, where the manufacturer has operated since 2014.

For its commercial launch in the country, Vida is introducing two primary product offerings: the VX2 urban electric scooter series and the DIRT.E K3 electric off-roader designed for younger riders. The initial product lineup is structured to target both daily commuting needs and lifestyle-oriented recreational riding.

The flagship Vida VX2 line-up is being introduced in two variants tailored for local road conditions. The higher-spec Vida VX2 Plus is powered by a 4.4 kWh setup comprising two 2.2 kWh removable battery packs. It produces a top speed of 90 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.1 seconds, delivers an 18-degree gradeability, and offers a real-world riding range of up to 140 km on a full charge. The entry-level Vida VX2 Go uses a single 2.2 kWh removable battery, delivering a top speed of 70 km/h, 0 to 40 km/h acceleration in 4.2 seconds, and a real-world range of 75 km.

Commenting on the global entry, Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer of the Emerging Mobility Business Unit at Hero MotoCorp, highlighted Nepal as a crucial strategic gateway for taking the brand's Indian engineering to international buyers. She emphasised that expanding via CG Motors provides the distribution backing required to support electric vehicle adoption.
