The Vivo V series is a step below its X series flagship smartphones
The launch of the V30 series from Vivo, will happen in India on March 7. This marks the Chinese tech giant's first foray into incorporating Zeiss optics, specifically within the V series model. The device — the V30 Pro — will be available in a selection of Andaman Blue, Peacock Green, and Classic Black, although the color options for the standard V30 remain undisclosed at this time.
Notably, the V30 Pro is equipped with a curved 6.78-inch 2800x1260 pixel 120Hz AMOLED display, capable of producing 2800 nits of brightness, and powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The device also supports 80W fast charging, a feature unique to Vivo. Its camera setup comprises three 50-megapixel rear cameras with Zeiss optics and Zeiss software tuning, as well as a 50-megapixel front camera.
Under the hood, the V30 Pro is anticipated to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device is also designed to resist water and dust, with an IP54 rating, and is projected to retail at a price point under Rs 50,000. Additionally, it may feature Vivo's proprietary V series image processing chipset.
As for the standard V30, information remains limited, but it is confirmed that the device will not include the Zeiss optics and tuning featured in the V30 Pro.
