As part of the celebratory offer, Volkswagen has introduced the ‘buy now, pay later’ scheme on the Virtus sedan, along with loyalty and special celebration benefits, as well as exclusive offers for doctors and chartered accountants.
The Volkswagen Virtus recently turned four years old, and to celebrate the anniversary, VW India has rolled out special offers and benefits on its popular sedan. As part of the celebratory offer, Volkswagen has introduced the ‘buy now, pay later’ scheme on the Virtus sedan. Moreover, buyers get loyalty benefits, special anniversary celebration benefits, as well as exclusive offers for doctors and chartered accountants.
Speaking about the strong sales, Nitin Kohli, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, said, “Celebrating 4 years of the Virtus is a proud milestone for Volkswagen India. It reflects the trust our customers have placed in the brand and the enduring appeal of the Virtus. We are grateful to every customer who has been part of this journey. As we celebrate this milestone, these special anniversary benefits, including exclusive offers for Doctors and Chartered Accountants, are our way of thanking our customers and welcoming more enthusiasts to the Volkswagen family.”
The VW Virtus went on sale in 2022, and has been leading the midsize sedan segment over the last two years with the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Hyundai Verna for company. The Virtus managed to impress buyers with its powerful engines and strong driving dynamics. It is one of the best driving sedans in the sub-₹20 lakh price bracket. The 1.5-litre turbo GT variants produce 148 bhp and 250 Nm, which makes the sedan a proper rocket. While Volkswagen has discontinued the Virtus GT manual, the automatic version with the 7-speed DSG continues to be a hot pick among enthusiasts.
Volkswagen says that the company sold one Virtus every 24 minutes in the last four years. The automaker is now gearing up to bring a mid-life upgrade to the sedan, on the same lines as the Taigun facelift. Expect to see an illuminated grille, new headlamps and taillights, new alloys, refreshed touchscreen infotainment system and upholstery on the car. You could also see a panoramic sunroof and an improved rear seat experience with the facelifted model. The Virtus facelift is expected to arrive around the festive season.
