Xiaomi Reveals Redmi Pad SE 4G India Launch Date

Xiaomi has announced that it will launch its Redmi Pad SE 4G tablet in India on July 29. In addition, the company has revealed some key details and features of the upcoming Redmi Pad SE in official teasers.

The Redmi Pad SE will join the existing Wi-Fi-only model that was launched in India in April. While it will retain many features, such as the 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, Dolby Atmos audio, and up to 128GB storage, some aspects of the 4G variant are different.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Pad SE 4G will sport an 8.7-inch HD display, smaller than the 11-inch panel on the Wi-Fi model. The design of the 4G variant shows a circular rear camera module compared to the rectangular unit on the other tablet. It will also come with a strap cover that can be used as a grip or stand.

As per previous leaks, the Redmi Pad SE 4G is expected to draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and packs an 8,000mAh battery with 10W charging. It will run Android-based HyperOS and support 4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Xiaomi has teased Blue and Green as the two colour options for the upcoming tablet. The Redmi Pad SE 4G will be available via Flipkart, mi.com and retail stores after the July 29 launch event in India.
