The ‘Trail Pack’ follows on the same lines as the ‘Mountain Pack’ that Yezdi introduced with the Adventure bike earlier.
Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced a new limited-period offer with the Roadster with a complimentary Trail Pack valued at ₹16,000. This adventure-oriented accessory bundle includes saddle bags, saddle stays, a visor kit, a headlamp grille, a backrest, a crash guard, and a bike cover. Despite the addition of this new standard pack, the Roadster's base price remains unchanged at ₹2.09 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, this is the second Yezdi bike to gain an accessory pack, after the Yezdi Adventure gained a ‘Mountain Pack’ a few months back.
As with the Roadster, the new accessory offer follows after its September 2023 update, which brought ergonomic and visual modifications. The motorcycle now features touring-friendly ergonomics with forward-set rider footpegs (moved 155mm) and a taller handlebar. Additional changes include a blacked-out engine and exhaust system, new handlebar grips, and handlebar-mounted mirrors.
Mechanically, it remains unchanged and the Roadster continues to be powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 29bhp and 28.9Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a six-speed transmission.
While this newly introduced limited-period offer should make the Yezdi Roadster appeal more to adventure enthusiasts. However, a limited service and showroom network continue to plague the brand. But that might change soon, for Yezdi Motorcycle’s parent company Classic Legends is gearing up to launch the new BSA Gold Star 650 on August 15 and with it would want to increase its presence in the country to aggravate its sales.
