The 2026 Yezdi Scrambler might see some cosmetic and feature upgrades over the current model which is priced between ₹ 1.97–2.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
Classic Legends is preparing to launch a new Yezdi motorcycle in the market on 23 April 2023. The company has teased the same on its social media handles where the date of unveiling is mentioned 18 days from the day the post went live. In the latest teaser too, Yezdi has avoided mentioning the name of the upcoming model, but our guess is that Classic Legends is looking to update the Yezdi Scrambler.
For the longest time, the Yezdi Scrambler has remained untouched, ever since it was launched in early 2022. Meanwhile, the company has updated the other models in the Yezdi range. The homegrown bikemaker recently announced the launch of Roadster Red Wolf Edition at a price of ₹2.10 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Yezdi Adventure has already undergone two significant update cycles, the most recent one in June last year.
Hence, the Yezdi Scrambler is long overdue for an update and clearly fits the bill here. Test mules of the updated Yezdi Scrambler have been spotted on multiple occasions previously. Previous spy shots have suggested a change in rear suspension unit that offers slightly more travel. Several users have earlier complained about a stiff rear in the Yezdi Scrambler which the company would want to rectify.

Classic Legends may provide some cosmetic updates to the new Yezdi Scrambler although there is very little physical evidence about the same. In terms of features, the updated Scrambler might receive a quickshifter for quicker and smoother down shifts. Mechanically, the Yezdi Scrambler will most likely remain unchanged. It will be powered by the same Alpha 2 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that pushes out 28.7 bhp at 8000 rpm and 28.2 Nm of peak torque at 6750 rpm. This engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Although very slim, chances are that Classic might introduce a larger and more powerful version of the Scrambler. This iteration of the bike could be powered by the 650 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine powering the BSA Gold Star. In fact, the BSA Scrambler 650 has been on sale in the United Kingdom since last year. However, this looks unlikely since the teaser has been shared on Yezdi’s social media page.
