Yulu, a Bengaluru-based shared electric mobility company, launched its flagship Yulu Wynn electric two-wheeler at an introductory price of Rs. 55,555 (ex-showroom), as well as commenced the pre-bookings for the same at Rs. 999 via its website. The company says that the deliveries for the Yulu Wynn electric two-wheeler will begin this month, however, the price of the electric two-wheeler will increase to Rs. 59,999 (ex-showroom) after the introductory period.
Amit Gupta, Co-founder & CEO, Yulu said, “It is a very compelling offering that will make customers pause, re-evaluate, and change their mobility choices. Wynn will enable everyone to ‘Ride their freedom’ in their own ways.”

The company says that the Wynn electric two-wheeler is a smart product designed for urban families with many first-in-class features such as keyless access, a swappable battery, and on-the-air (OTA) connectivity. Power comes from a 19.3 Ah, LFP, battery pack that is good enough to produce 250 W, and travel up to 61–68 km on a single charge, meant solely for short-distance city commutes. It has a top speed of 24.9 kmph, so the rider doesn’t require a registration or license to use it.
The company is also offering affordable subscription packs that reduce the upfront cost of ownership by 40 per cent. It comes with a swappable battery that can be swapped in under 1 minute at any battery swapping station on the Yuma Energy network - a Yulu & Magna joint venture. The battery can also be charged at home using a portable charger that can be bought as an accessory.

Yuma Energy has an existing battery-swapping infrastructure with over 100 touchpoints, which will reach 500 by December 2023. The company also offers 'Battery-as-a-Service' (BaaS) with the Yulu Wynn electric two-wheeler.
