1. Tata Nexon (ICE + EV) – 22,434 Units
Launched in September 2017, the Tata Nexon has continued to dominate the market with its essential features. In November 2025, the Tata Nexon became the best-selling car in India for the third consecutive month. Since its launch, it has gained this title numerous times. However, the primary reason behind the spike in Nexon’s sales is the GST reforms introduced by the Indian government, which provide a significant tax rebate on newly launched cars.
Before the tax reforms, the Nexon was priced at Rs 8 – 15.60 lakh (ex-showroom), though it came at Rs 7.32 – 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom) after the tax reform. With a drop of up to ₹ 1.55 lakh in its price, the Nexon is one of the cars that have seen the biggest price drop.
