Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Old vs New

When Hyundai launched the Grand i10 Nios in 2019, it delivered well as a budget car. The facelifted 2023 model aims to improve upon the previous generation. While the old model left some driving dynamics to be desired, it was otherwise a great value car.

Exterior Styling

The new Nios is 10mm longer than the old model, now measuring 3815mm, but it remains identical in width, height, and wheelbase. Changes include a revised front bumper and fog lights, a more open grille, new taillights, and alloy wheels for a modernised look.

Cabin and Features

The interior remains largely unchanged. It continues to offer generous features like auto climate control, touchscreen infotainment, etc. Updates are minor, such as new upholstery and instrument cluster.

Powertrain Options

Engine options are reduced from three to two. Transmission options on the 1.2L petrol remain 5-speed manual and AMT. The 1.2L petrol/CNG is manual only. So, while not radically different, the 2023 Nios brings some updates while retaining its successful predecessor's value, space and features.
