With the launch of the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift the South Korean automaker has sharpened its weapon in the Indian market. The new Seltos 2.0 looks sharper, packs more performance and comes loaded with more and more features!

2023 Kia Seltos Exterior: The Kia Seltos facelift features a revamped exterior design with changes to the front and the rear of the SUV.

The front fascia of the Kia Seltos features ice-cube fog lamps, and the funky DRLs give the SUV a distinct look. The revamped front bumper also elevates the overall looks of the SUV. However, it's the rear profile that gets more attention, thanks to the new connected LED tail lights with fancy animated turn indicators. The rear bumper also gets its share of updates.

Interior and Features: Similar to the exterior, the Kia Selto’s interior also features significant updates, especially in terms of features. The prominent update comes in the form of a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, one for the information display (touchscreen) and another for the digital instrument cluster.

The dashboard and clean and uncluttered. The 2023 Seltos also gets ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, driving modes, paddle shifters (automatic only), an air purifier and connected car features. The Kia Seltos facelift boasts a long list of features right from the base variant.

Engine Specifications: The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift gets the new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which results in more power than its predecessor. The engine generates 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. 

The engine is torquey, and there is always enough grunt when you need it. The iMT gearbox is convenient as it eliminates the need for a clutch pedal, and the DCT gearbox is fun to drive with quick shifts.

Safety: The new 2023 Kia Seltoa gets ADAS Level 2 functions such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and many other functions. The SUV also gets standard safety features like six airbags, TPMS, ABS, disc brakes on all four wheels, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, etc. Overall, the Kia Seltos is equipped well in terms of safety equipment and advanced driver assistance features.

Colours: The Kia Seltos facelift is available in 8 monotone colours, 2 dual-tone colours and 1 matte finish colour.

Monotone colours: Pewter Olive, Clear White, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, Intense Red and Imperial Blue.

Dual-tone colours: Intense Red/ Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl/ Aurora Black Pearl

Matte-finish colour: Xclusive Matte Graphite (X-Line)

Prices: The prices for the Kia Seltos facelift start at Rs. 10.89 lakhs and go all the way up to Rs. 19.99 lakhs for the top variant. All prices are ex-showroom.

Kia Seltos Facelift Review | Kia’s Bestseller Now More Feature Packed

The 2023 Kia Seltos has made its India debut as the South Korean car manufacturer has unveiled the updated SUV in the country. Kia’s most popular SUV has finally received a significant update since its launch in 2019. With the latest update, the Seltos gets a host of changes to the exterior, interior and the feature list.

Exterior: The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift features a host of changes to the exterior design. It includes a larger front grille, a redesigned bumper, revamped headlights, new LED DRLs, three new alloy wheels design, a redesigned tail light cluster with sequential turn indicators and a revamped tailgate.

Interior: The updates to the interior include a new black and white interior theme as standard, sage green theme for the top-spec X-Line trim, a revamped dashboard, slimmer AC vents, a panoramic sunroof and an 8-inch heads-up display (on higher trims).

Engine and Transmission: The 2023 Kia Seltos gets two petrol and a diesel engine option. The updated SUV gets a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual or an iVT gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is paid with a 6-speed iMT or an automatic gearbox.

Tech Features: The Seltos facelift gets several tech features like Level 2 ADAS with 17 autonomous safety features, a new 10.25-inch dual screen setup for the infotainment system and driver’s display and Bose premium audio system with 8 speakers,  

Safety Features: The new 2023 Kia Seltos gets six airbags as standard. Other features include a 36-degree camera with a blind view monitor, disc brakes on all four wheels, TPMS, rear parking sensors, etc.

Colours: The new Seltos is available in 11 colour palettes with 9 monotone and 2 dual-tone paint schemes. 

Variants and Trim levels: The Kia Seltos facelift is available in 3 variants and 18 trims.

Price: The 2023 Kia Seltos is available with a starting price of Rs. 10.90 lakhs for the base variant. The prices go up to Rs. 20.30 lakhs for the top-spec variant. Both prices are ex-showroom.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift First Look

The 2023 Kia Seltos has elevated the SUV experience with its tech-laden interior. The South Korean carmaker transformed the SUV when it first introduced the Seltos in 2019. Now, with the introduction of the updated Seltos 2.0, the SUV receives several tech updates.

Level 2 ADAS Functions: The 2023 Kia Seltos comes with 17 Level 2 ADAS functions. The SUV is equipped with 3 Radars and Cameras that enable the ADAS functions. Some of the ADAS features include Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist, etc. It also has a 360-degree camera.

New Dual-Screen Setup: The new 2023 Kia Seltos comes with a tech-laden interior, and the prominent highlight of the cabin is the new dual 10.25-inch screen setup. One display is for the infotainment system (touchscreen), and the other is for the digital instrument cluster.

The driver's display is sharp, clear and crisp, and you can access various functions like navigation, a trip computer, ADAS functions, etc. The touchscreen infotainment system is responsive and comes with good resolution.

Voice commands: You can also control various functions on the 2023 Kia Seltos with voice commands. What’s interesting is it even recognises Hinglish commands as well. Things like adjusting the AC temperature, opening/closing the sunroof, window functions, etc., can be done with voice commands.

Head-Up Display: The new Seltos gets an 8-inch pop-up head-up display (only on X-Line trim), which relays vital information like speed, speed limit alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control and some of the ADAS features.

Smartphone Connectivity: The 2023 Kia Seltos gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on all variants except for the base variant. However, there is no wireless connectivity on the bigger 10.25-inch infotainment system. 

Connected Car Features: The 2023 Seltos comes with Kia Connect, which brings 67 features. You can also add the Kia Connect skill with Amazon Alexa.

Audio System: The 2023 Kia Seltos gets a premium 8-speaker Bose audio system that will elevate your audio experience inside the cabin.

The 2023 Kia Seltos is a tech-laden package which has everything you expect from a Kia car. From voice commands to ADAS features, the SUV is a well-rounded package in terms of tech features.
