1. BMW F 450 GS

BMW Motorrad India is all set to bring the F 450 GS to the market early next year, having showcased the production-spec version at EICMA this year. The BMW F 450 GS is a twin-cylinder ADV, which replaces the G 310 GS as the brand’s most accessible offering in this space. More importantly, the F 450 GS will be made in India for domestic and global markets and is the second ICE platform to come from the TVS-BMW collaboration. In fact, the twin-cylinder ADV will be built at TVS’ Hosur facility, which should keep prices competitive by BMW standards.

2. CFMoto 450MT

CFMoto promised the 450MT for India in 2025 but that plan has not exactly come together, and so, we hope to see the 450MT making it to Indian shores in 2026. The Chinese manufacturer has been sparsely present in India, but the 450MT appears to be its big-ticket comeback to the mainstream premium two-wheeler market. The CFMoto 450MT will rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the segment with a 449.5cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine producing around 43.3 bhp and 44 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The motor gets a 270-degree crankshaft for strong low-end power. The other specs include a 175 kg dry weight, fully adjustable KYB suspension, switchable traction control and ABS, Bosch-sourced electronics, and more, making it a promising buy. It will depend on how the 450MT is priced and the after-sales and service support the brand is able to offer across the country.

3. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

With more competition on its way, Royal Enfield is upping the game for the Himalayan with a bigger capacity version in development. We got the first glimpse of the Himalayan 750 at EICMA this year, and the production-spec model is likely to arrive in the second half of next year. The Himalayan 750 will be based on a new platform carrying a bored-out version of the 648 cc twin-cylinder mill from the current RE 650 Twins. The new Himalayan 750 looks promising and will be more of a tourer with the 19-inch front spoke wheel, the option of alloys, and a fully adjustable suspension setup. Expect upgrades in the feature list too. The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will be competing with the big boys right from the Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, and the like in the segment.

4. Hero XPulse 421

Hero MotoCorp left us with a teaser at EICMA last year in the form of the XPulse 421, and we reckon, the model will come to life in 2026. The Hero XPulse 421 will be the brand’s biggest ADV yet and promises to bring the light nature of the XPulse 210, albeit with more performance and tech. The XPulse 421 is expected to retain the incredible off-roading ability associated with the XPulse range, but add more touring ability to the bike with a bigger engine and a comfier seat. More details on the new XPulse 421 should be available later in the year.

5. Kawasaki KLE 500

The Kawasaki KLE 500 made its global debut this year, and chances are the model could make its way to our market in 2026. The KLE nameplate makes a comeback with a 500 cc in-line twin-cylinder engine and a 180-degree crankshaft. The engine is shared with the Ninja 500 that’s on sale in India, and is known for its super-tractable nature. The bike is underpinned by a trellis frame, Kayaba suspension and a 21-inch front spoke wheel with dual-purpose tyres. The KLE 500 would be a worthy rival to several of the new launches in the ADV segment. Pricing though will be crucial for its mainstream success.

Ultraviolette Shockwave (3).jpg

6. UV Shockwave

For those looking at a proper dirt bike, Ultraviolette will be introducing the Shockwave electric motorcycle in 2026. The next big launch from the Bengaluru-based manufacturer will have a 4 kWh battery pack, a mid-mounted motor with 14 bhp and 505 Nm of peak torque at the rear wheel, and a top speed of 120 kmph. Notably, the bike weighs just 120 kg (kerb) as well. The bike rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch spoke wheels. The Shockwave sounds promising as a fun electric bike to explore trails on, making it an interesting contender to the Hero XPulse 210. UV has announced the price on the Shockwave starting at Rs 1.75 lakh, while the first 2,000 customers have booked the bike for an introductory price of Rs 1.50 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Sales are set to begin in the first of next year.

7. BSA Scrambler 650

BSA will expand its lineup with the Scrambler 650, slated to arrive next year. The BSA Scrambler 650 is the second global offering from the brand after the Gold Star 650. While it’s on sale in the UK, the bike will make its way to the Indian market in the coming months. The Scrambler 650 borrows the same 652 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Gold Star, churning out about 44 bhp and 55 Nm of peak torque. The bike has a more upright riding position, while the kerb weight measures 218 kg. The bike rides on dual-purpose tyres. The BSA Scrambler 650 is made in India and exported to the UK, so expected to prices to remain under Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom).

Norton Atlas

8. Norton Atlas

Storied British-brand Norton Motorcycles made a comeback this year in an all-new avatar under the ownership of India’s TVS Motor Company. The UK-based motorcycle manufacturer has been confirmed for an India launch in 2026, and one of the new models set to arrive here will be the Atlas adventure tourer. The middleweight adventure motorcycle will sport a 585 cc parallel-twin engine churning out around 69 bhp. The bike will be underpinned by a trellis frame with wire-spoke alloys. The more road-friendly Atlas GT is also likely to make its way here and will come with alloy wheels. The Norton Atlas will also go big on electronics with IMU, ride-by-wire, multiple ride modes, and a TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity. More details on the Atlas’ arrival will be available in the coming months.

9. Suzuki V-Strom 250 Update

Suzuki Motorcycle India is expected to bring certain upgrades to the V-Strom 250 in 2026. The bike has been facing the heat from the Hero XPulse 210 and the new KTM 250 Adventure, and the upgrades should help keep the model relevant for a wider audience. A fun bike in its own right, the V-Strom 250 uses the familiar 249 cc oil-cooled motor tuned for 26 bhp, and rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS, telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, and a kerb weight of 167 kg. The V-Strom 250 has turned out to be a potent everyday commuter as well as a tourer, and an upgrade will only help its cause further.

10. Brixton Storr 500

Austrian brand Brixton Motorcycles is slated to bring the Storr 500 to the market in 2026. Originally slated for launch at India Bike Week 2025, the date has now been pushed and we should see the bike arriving by mid-year. The bike looks the part with its rally-inspired design language, while power comes from the 486 cc parallel-twin motor tuned for 47 bhp and 43 Nm of peak torque. The bike is equipped with a KYB suspension, J Juan brakes with switchable ABS, and all-LED lighting. Pre-bookings for the Storr 500 commenced earlier this year and prices are expected to start around the Rs 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
