The Skoda Slavia has bagged the 2023 Acko Drive Car Of The Year Award. It speaks volumes about the company's efforts for the Indian market. The Slavia beat the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Baleno, Grand Vitara, Kia Carens, Hyundai Tucson, Mahindra Scorpio-N to claim the top prize. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara was the runner-up here.

The Skoda Slavia is not the company's first foray into the compact sedan space. The Octavia and the Rapid, had set benchmarks in the segment and that certainly put a lot of pressure on the Slavia. The Slavia is built on VW Group's MQB A0-IN platform and with 95 per cent localisation, has ensured, it is cost effective too.
The Slavia comes with two turbocharged petrol engines and with up to 6 airbags. The company offers a lot of creature comforts with the car making it a value for money proposition.
