The new Xtreme 200S receives a midlife upgrade with mechanical and feature updates.
Hero has updated the Xtreme 200S and launched the new product with a more powerful motor and a bunch of new features. The 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V retails for Rs. 1,41,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi), a price bump of Rs. 5,900 compared to the older model. The Xtreme 200S has received more of an update than an upgrade.
The big news is the inclusion of the 4-valve technology as seen on the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and Hero claims this has improved the power output by 6 per cent and torque by 5 per cent. The 200cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine develops 18.9 bhp and 17.35 Nm of peak torque. It still employs a 5-speed gearbox.
The other big change is on the features front with the inclusion of turn-by-turn navigation on the LCD instrument console. Apart from this, the rider will also receive call and SMS alerts via Bluetooth.
On the cosmetic front, the basic design remains unchanged, but the new Xtreme 2004V gets revised graphics and three colour options - Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Stealth Edition. The 2023 Xtreme 200S 4V is now equipped with a split handlebar for a sporty riding stance. The frame, suspension, and braking hardware remain unchanged on the new bike.
