The naked sporty motorcycles have once again received a small but meaningful update.
Bajaj’s Pulsar NS series of bikes have been one of the most prominent and yet the most unchanged motorcycles since their inception. The Pulsar NS200 and the Pulsar NS160 keep getting small tweaks over the years but their essence remains the same since 2013. For 2024, the two bikes have got these updates:
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 gets a new fully digital cluster with a reverse-LCD display. This unit replaces the semi-digital instrument cluster from before and further gets you Bluetooth connectivity. The latter feature gets you dedicated smartphone app connectivity options like accept/reject calls, and notification alerts. Turn-by-turn navigation is the latest highlight for the new 2024 Pulsar NS-es are the first in the Pulsar family to get the aid.
Making matters more serious is the new front fascia, courtesy of the new headlight design. That is largely amplified by the new all-LED headlight, ditching the halogen bulb, finally. Plus, the Z-shaped LED DRLs look pretty neat. The muscular stance of the NS200 continues as it is but it looks more chiselled.
The 2024 Pulsar NS200 will remain mechanically the same and as per mandate regulations the 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled will now also be E20 fuel compatible. The 24 bhp/18.74 Nm output will remain the same.
Bajaj has showcased the bikes already and the official price list is yet to be revealed. A marginal price hike is expected with the addition of these new features. As for availability, the bikes will be arriving in showrooms soon.
