However, Kawasaki will reportedly bring only 25 units of the 400 cc sport bike in India.
Days after its official launch in India, the new 2024 Kawasaki ZX-4RR has started to arrive across select dealerships in India. It is one of the most expensive 400 cc offerings from the Japanese bikemaker, the ZX-4RR at ₹9.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) is ₹61,000 more expensive than the Ninja ZX-4R. Further, giving it an exclusive status is the fact that only 25 units of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR will be brought to our shores via the CBU route.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is available with a premium 37 mm USD Showa SFF-BP fork with preload adjustability, and a fully adjustable Showa BRFC-lite gas-charged monoshock suspension that is derived from the bigger Ninja ZX-10R. Similarly, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR might be powered by the same parallel-twin 399 cc engine that also does duties in the Ninja ZX-4R. But in the former, it has been tuned to produce 1.4 bhp more at 76.4 bhp (boosts up to 78.7 bhp with RAM air intake) at 14,000 rpm and 37.6 Nm. It also comes with a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.
Besides the above upgrades, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is relatively the same as the Ninja ZX-4R with the same body panels, albeit with different graphics. It also gets the same four ride modes which can be toggled through the 4.3-inch TFT screen that supports Bluetooth connectivity via the ‘My Kawasaki’ app.
Further making this bike all the more unique is the fact that there is no direct competition, and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is the only one-of-its-kind 400 cc super sport bike available in our country. So, if you have one in your garage, you’ll be enjoying quite the exclusive status in India.
