Acko General Insurance CEO Varun Dua presents the 2024 Viewers Choice Car of the Year Award to Shruti Yadav and Minal Saraf.
At the 2024 Acko Drive Awards, the Tata Nexon.ev bagged an important trophy by winning the Viewer’s Choice Car of the Year award. This was awarded based on public votes cast on the Acko Drive website. The Nexon also won the 2024 Google’s Most Searched Car award, clearly indicating it is a favourite among the audience.
The Nexon.ev recently received a facelift and comes with two powertrain options. The Medium Range (MR) version gets a 30 kWh battery with a 325 km range, while the Long Range version gets a 40.5 kWh battery with a 465 km range. Both batteries can be charged from 10-80 per cent in 56 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger. The LR variant produces 143 bhp, while the MR variant produces 127 bhp, with both producing 205 Nm. Stand-out features include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, vehicle-to-vehicle tech, a 360-degree camera, six airbags as standard, and more.
Tata Motors’ popular subcompact electric SUV stood out among the competition which also had the Mahindra XUV400, MG Comet and Citroën C3 Aircross. The Nexon.ev offers a nice mix of practicality, functionality and is ecofriendly.
