Who doesn’t love a Harley-Davidson? You, of course. Cementing that love for the popular American brand is the fact that it won the 2025 Google Most Search Premium Bike Brand TOTM at the 2025 Acko Drive Awards.
Harley-Davidson entered India in 2010 and also opened an assembly plant in Haryana. After a few successful years and a bit of a rocky patch, Harley-Davidson announced in 2020 it would be discontinuing its manufacturing operations in India. However, Harley-Davidson partnered up with Hero MotoCorp and, in 2023, launched the X440.
No wonder the brand is so popular. It is a dream brand for many and that has been because of its portrayal in pop culture all throughout history. One of the most iconic instances of Harley-Davidson is the use of the Fat Boy in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, making the brand iconic and highly desirable.
What also helped Harley-Davidson gain popularity in 2024 is the demand for X440 and the speculation of more models, based on the X440’s platform, coming out of the Hero-Harley partnership.
