2025 Acko Drive Awards: Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV Wins Luxury SUV of the Year

Luxury SUV seems to be the new flavour of town and one of the best to launch this year was the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV. The Mercedes’ flagship electric SUV won the 2025 Luxury SUV TOTM at the 2025 Acko Drive Awards. The Maybach was the most luxurious offering in the category.

The Maybach EQS SUV fought against the likes of the Kia EV9 and the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV. The jury was impressed by the luxury and the versatility the Maybach EQS SUV has to offer. Interestingly, all the rivals in the category were electrics. But while the Maybach may not have as much range as the standard EQS, it does offer way more luxury than the regular version. 

It comes with a 122 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 611 km on a full charge. It comes with dual-electric motors churning out 649 bhp and 955 Nm (combined). It is priced at ₹2.25 crore (ex-showroom, India).
