The Kawasaki ZX-4RR has also gained a new colour option as part of the update.
Barely weeks after its global debut, the 2025 iteration of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has now made its way to India. The fiercer and more powerful version of the ZX-4R has been launched in the country at ₹9.42 lakh (ex-showroom, India), making it ₹32,000 more expensive than before. Being a new iteration, Kawasaki has also introduced a new colour option which combines four shades. While the iconic Lime Green continues to act as the base, a new graphic design combining Ebony Black, Pearl Blizzard White, and Yellow --- gives the bike a nice, fresh appeal.
But beyond this aesthetic upgrade, the Kawasaki ZX-4RR has essentially remained the same. It continues to be built around the same steel trellis chassis, sprung by a premium 37 mm USD SFF-BP fork and BRFC-lite gas-charged mono-shock, both sourced from Showa. Braking duties are carried out by 290 mm semi-floating discs with monoblock four-piston callipers and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston calliper for the front and rear.
The 76.4 bhp/ 37.8 Nm strong 399 cc, liquid-cooled inline-4 has also remained the same. What makes this engine so ferocious and demanding in the ZX-4RR is that it can rev up to 14,000 rpm—which is almost MotoGP level. Additionally, just like the bigger Ninja H2Rs, the ZX-4RR is also available with a RAM air intake that boosts the power up to 78.7 bhp. On the features front, the Bluetooth-compatible 4.3-inch TFT screen and the different ride modes have also continued as it was before.
Just like before, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR will also be brought to India in limited numbers. So, if you have deep pockets, we suggest heading to the nearest Kawasaki showroom as soon as possible. The chances of owning one will likely become slimmer every day.
