Although hailed as a new generation model, both bikes have remained mechanically identical from before.
TVS is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Apache range, and headlining the occasion were the new Top Line variants of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and 200 4V. The former is priced at ₹1,47,990, and the Top Line variant of the bigger Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at ₹1,59,990 (both ex-showroom prices).

As part of the revisions, both the new variants now debut with a completely brand new, much more aggressive-looking headlamp cowl with Class-D projector headlamps. It gets a new 5-inch TFT console as well that supports SmartXonnect connectivity with Voice Assist. A slip and assist clutch, and traction control have also been added as standard. New colour schemes round up the rest of the updates, wherein the Top Line Apache RTR 160 4V variant is available in Racing Red, Marine Blue, and Matte Black. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Top Line variant is available in Matte Black and Granite Grey.
Besides this visual difference, both the new variants are mechanically identical to the rest of the range. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 17.31 bhp/ 14.73 Nm in (Sport ) and 15.42 bhp/ 14.14 Nm in Urban and Rain mode. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled mill that produces 20.54 bhp/17.25 Nm in Sport mode and 17.08 bhp/ 16.51 Nm in Urban and Ride mode.

Unlike the rest of the range, the Top Line variants also have a 37 mm golden USD fork, replacing the telescopic fork on the standard range. The rest of the hardware has remained the same, where the rear continues to rest on a monoshock. In these new variants, brake duties are carried out by petalled disc brakes at both ends, and the Apache RTR 160 2V also gets the biggest rear disc in the range at 240 mm.
Bookings for both the bikes are open now, and deliveries will start soon.
