The Ronin is the only neo-retro roadster offering in TVS’s portfolio
At the 2024 MotoSoul event in Goa, TVS had showcased the updated version of the Ronin and now the retro-roadster has been officially launched in India. The 2025 TVS Ronin is priced at ₹1.35 lakh for the base variant, whereas the dual-channel ABS variant will set you back by ₹1.59 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
The 2025 iteration of the Ronin is now offered in two new colour shades - Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember. Apart from the new colour options and the inclusion of dual-channel ABS in the mid variant, no other changes have been made on the motorcycle. It continues to be powered by a 226 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 20.1 bhp and 19.3 Nm. The motorcycle also comes with Glide through Technology (GTT) which helps the engine from stalling at low speeds and slipper clutch for light clutch action.
On the hardware front, the frame is the same unit as before and it’s suspended on a 41 mm USD fork and monoshock. Talking about features, the TVS Ronin gets two modes for ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist and a digital instrument console. The TVS Ronin hasn’t been a successful product for the brand and it has been trying really hard to push sales. The Ronin was the first product from TVS in the neo-retro roadster segment which has been witnessing a lot of action but the Ronin has been completely overshadowed by the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 which recently crossed the 5 lakh unit sales milestone. It will be interesting to see whether these new updates make an impact on the sales performance of the Ronin or not.
