Honda has re-launched the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP in India, as part of an expansive update to its premium motorcycle lineup. The 2026 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP has been reintroduced at a price tag of ₹33.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram), and joins the CB750 Hornet and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch, alongside the 2026 Gold Wing. Notably, there is no change to the Fireblade since its last departure earlier this year, barring a ₹4.5 lakh higher price tag.
The 2026 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is available in the top-spec version, and in a solo Grand Prix Red paint scheme. Power comes from the familiar 999 cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine tuned for 214.5 bhp at 14,000 rpm and 113 Nm at 12,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and bi-directional quickshifter. It also gets an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system as standard.
The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is underpinned by a twin-spar aluminium diamond frame, which has been derived from the RC213V-S MotoGP machine. The bike comes with top notch hardware including electrically adjustable Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 NPX USD forks at the front, and the Öhlins TTX36 monoshock at the rear. Braking power comes from Brembo Stylema R calipers with twin 330 mm front discs, and a single 220 mm rear disc. The Fireblade is loaded with electronic aids such as a six-axis IMU, multi-level traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, launch control, and more. There’s a 5-inch TFT display to control all the functions.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP takes on a host of litre-class machines on sale in the country. This includes the Ducati Panigale V4 priced at ₹39 lakh, the BMW S 1000 RR priced at ₹23.25 lakh, as well as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R priced at ₹20.79 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
