ACKO Drive Awards 2026: Rane Group Receives TOTMs Hall of Fame Manufacturing Pioneer Honour

The two-day ACKO Drive Awards 2026 gala saw a host of passenger vehicles and bikes winning their much-deserved TOTM trophies. The mega event also saw a group of companies earning their rightful recognition as Manufacturing Pioneers in the TOTMs Hall of Fame. Chennai-headquartered Rane Group was one of the many recipients of this honour. A Makesh, President, Rane Steering Systems, received it on behalf of the Rane Group. 

A major player in the Indian automotive ecosystem, the $870 million Rane Group stands tall also as a flagbearer of India’s growing manufacturing competence.

A supplier to OEMs across vehicle segments, as well as to the railways and for stationery engines, the Chennai-headquartered components major also exports to over 30 countries.

From steering and engine parts to safety-related components and light metal castings, Rane Group companies have earned their place in the sun through a stringent focus on TQM, and a zero-defect culture.

The Rane Group is honoured as a TOTMs Hall of Fame Manufacturing Pioneer for its enduring commitment to excellence, and continuous efforts to push the boundaries for nearly a century.   

Ashok Leyland, TVS Motor, Hyundai Motor India, BMW India, and Royal Enfield were the other manufacturers to be inducted into the TOTMs Hall of Fame as manufacturing pioneers.
