Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd (GEMPL) has secured approval for subsidies from the government for its electric scooters that operate under the Ampere badge. This approval means GEMPL can now receive government benefits for these scooters. While, GEMPL's three-wheeler business was already getting EMPS benefits. Now, its two-wheeler models are also eligible. Which should help the company offer more affordable electric vehicles across India.
