Deliveries for the entry-level electric scooter will commence this month itself.
In its continued mission to make electric mobility accessible and affordable for every Indian, Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) announced the launch of the new Reo 80 electric scooter. The new Ampere Reo 80 is positioned as an entry-level electric scooter and is priced at ₹59,900 (introductory price, ex-showroom), making it among the most affordable electric scooters on sale.

The Reo 80 is a low-speed scooter which means top speed is limited to 25 kmph and the company claims a range of 80 km, which is enough for city commutes. On the features front, the Ampere electric scooter gets an LFP battery, keyless start and front disc brake. Since it’s a low-speed scooter, riders without a valid driving license can also ride the Reo 80 and there’s no need to register the scooter as well. The Ampere Reo is positioned as an entry-level electric scooter and targeted at customers who want an affordable electric scooter for commuting.
