Ampere has finally concluded its Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) journey with its upcoming electric scooter been hailed as ‘The Next Big Thing’. The 10,000 km record journey also saw the electric scooter traverse 115 cities and towns, and break two records along the way.
Firstly, the electric scooter became the first of its kind to tow a pick-up truck that weighed 1860 kg and 140 kg of additional weight and two passengers, for two km. In another feat, the electric scooter was used to create the biggest brand logo on the white sands of Kutch measuring up to 17100 sq. ft.
By traversing through some of the most challenging terrains and undertaking these activities, Ampere is also showcasing the prowess of its upcoming scooter. Pre-bookings for the same have already commenced and you can do so on Ampere's website. The Ampere NXG aka 'The Next Big Thing' is expected to slot in as the brand's performance electric scooter. Therefore, it is also expected to be priced more than the Ampere Primus' ₹1.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) price tag.

Ampere’s K2K expedition lasted for 45 days. In the process, the marque has not just managed to showcase the prowess of its upcoming product, but also interact with dealers and customers nationwide and give them a chance to get a firsthand glimpse of the product. “This is a testimony to our mission of making Har Gully Electric," said Sanjay Behl, CEO, of Greaves Electric Mobility.
