The OLED screens on the new iPad Pro models are causing blown-out blue colours with white streaks.
Apple launched its new iPad Pro models with much fanfare, and they have received favourable reviews. However, a bug has been discovered in the innovative tandem OLED screens, which causes blown-out blue colours with white streaks. This issue stems from the image processing engine.
Apple has acknowledged the problem and is actively working on a software fix, which will likely be delivered via an OTA update for iPadOS. Although sales of the new iPad Pro models are set to begin later this week, there is no specific timeline for the update.
The new iPad Pro models feature an updated image processing engine and display controller, integrated with the M4 chipset, enabling the tandem OLED technology. This technology merges two OLED screens into one for enhanced brightness. While Apple is expected to announce significant software updates at WWDC, including an OS update for the iPad Pro, this will likely be a developer preview not intended for consumers.
