The DBX707 AMR24 only gets cosmetic updates, but there are no mechanical changes.
Aston Martin has unveiled a special edition of the DBX707. The British marque has revealed the AMR24 Edition of the luxury SUV, commemorating its Formula 1 team. The DBX707 AMR24 Edition receives cosmetic updates from the Aston Martin AMR24 F1 car. However, there are no mechanical changes with this special edition.
The DBX707 AMR24 Edition is available in three colour options – Podium Green, Onyx Black or Neutron White – accompanied by Lime Green or Trophy Silver accents on the lower part of the body. The brake callipers are available in either Aston Martin Racing Green or AMR Lime Green colours, while the 23-inch wheels can be specced in either satin or gloss black. The engine bay gets a special AMR24 plaque too.
Inside, the DBX707 AMR24 Edition gets a choice of two cabin themes. It can either be specced with an Onyx Black theme or an Onyx Black-Eifel Green dual-tone theme and both get Lime Green accents. Customisation options don’t end here as the trim accents can either be specced with carbon fibre and dark chrome or titanium with satin chrome. The door sills get AMR24 badging, while there is a Lime Green patch on the wireless charging pad.
The DBX707 AMR24 Edition gets a new audio system from Bowers & Wilkins which Aston Martin claims has been specifically engineered according to the DBX707’s interior space and shape. Other features remain the same as the recently updated DBX707. It continues with the 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as well as updated switchgear on the centre console.
Powering the special edition is the same engine as the standard DBX707. The 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces 697 bhp and 900 Nm, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. While it has an all-wheel drive system as standard, the drivetrain can send all of the power to the rear wheels when required. 0-100 kmph is achieved in 3.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 310 kmph.
