Aston Martin is set to introduce its flagship model, the Vanquish, to the Indian market on March 22. With global production limited to fewer than 1,000 units per year, the Vanquish's arrival in India underscores its exclusivity. The high-performance sports car is expected to be priced around ₹5.5 crore (ex-showroom) and will compete with other V12-powered supercars like the Ferrari 12cilindri.
The Vanquish maintains Aston Martin’s signature design language, blending traditional styling with modern elements. It features Matrix LED headlights and a large, distinctive grille. The aerodynamic design includes smooth curves, a long bonnet, and a sculpted tail section, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with high-quality materials, including carbon fibre, and features a full-length panoramic glass roof. The infotainment system includes a large touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, integrating modern technology with luxury.
At the heart of the Vanquish is a newly re-engineered 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine producing 823 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. This makes it the fastest and most powerful series-production Aston Martin to date, with a top speed of 345 kmph. Power is transmitted through a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Enhancements to the wheelbase, extended by 80 mm, improve stability and ride quality. The car also features Bilstein DTX dampers and an electronic rear differential (e-diff) for sharper handling. Specially developed 21-inch Pirelli P ZERO tyres contribute to improved grip and driving dynamics.
