Asus on Monday launched its new line of laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X chips in the Indian market. The company has launched two models: the premium Asus Zenbook A14 and the more affordable Asus Vivobook 16, both designed with advanced AI capabilities.
The Asus Zenbook A14 is available through Asus e-shop, Asus Exclusive stores, Flipkart, and Amazon India. The Asus Vivobook 16 can be purchased through Asus e-shop, Amazon, and retail outlets including Croma, Vijay Sales, and Reliance.
The Zenbook A14 comes with two processor variants: the standard Snapdragon X (up to 28W) priced at Rs 99,990 and the higher-end Snapdragon X Elite (up to 45W) priced at Rs 129,990.
Built with "Ceraluminum," which is a ceramic-aluminium composite. The laptop weighs 980 grams and offers enhanced scratch and shock resistance. Its 14-inch Asus Lumina OLED display features a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1200 resolution, and 600 nits peak brightness with 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.
Both variants include the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivering up to 45 TOPS of AI processing power, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Connectivity options include two USB4 Type-C ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack, with the Elite model featuring tri-band Wi-Fi 7.
Priced at Rs 65,990, the Asus Vivobook 16 aims to bring premium AI features to the "affordable" segment. It's powered by the Snapdragon X processor with the same 45 TOPS NPU.
The laptop features a 16-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 300 nits brightness. It matches the Zenbook's 16GB RAM configuration but offers a more budget-appropriate port selection and a smaller 50Whr battery.
Both laptops come with Microsoft Copilot Plus PC platform, enabling features like real-time language translation, intelligent power management, and adaptive multitasking.
The Asus Vivobook 16 specifically highlights Live Captions, Cocreator for sketch-to-art transformations, and Generative Fill in Paint.
