Prices have been increased by ₹6000 increase moving up from ₹ 1.89 Lakh
Ather 450 Apex was launched in January 2024 as the brands most high-performance scooter and has now seen a price hike of ₹ 6,000. It now starts at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This was introduced as a special edition scooter and sits at the top of the Ather lineup as a flagship scooter.
The price increase doesn't take away from the allure of the 450 Apex. It remains the fastest and most powerful electric scooter in Ather's lineup. Packing a 7 kW electric motor and a 3.7 kWh battery has an IDC range of 157 km. This also claimed 0-100 kmph time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 100 kmph, 10 kmph faster than the 450X.
Unlike the standard 450 series scooters, the Apex gets a beautiful visual touch. A striking dual-tone blue paint scheme with contrasting orange wheels and accents instantly grabs attention. The use of translucent panels on the body adds another layer of intrigue, offering a glimpse of the trellis subframe underneath. This unique design aesthetic, coupled with the limited production run, makes the 450 Apex a true collector's item for enthusiasts.
The 450 Apex is loaded with features, making it a joy to ride. A key feature is the seven-inch touchscreen instrument cluster. This high-resolution display provides all the necessary information to the rider, including speed, battery level, trip information, and navigation. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to pair your smartphone with the scooter, enabling features like music playback and call reception.
The 450 Apex also boasts a wide range of ride modes to cater to different riding styles and conditions. Eco mode prioritises maximum range, while Sport mode liberates the full performance potential of the motor. The new Warp Plus mode, exclusive to the Apex, offers an extra dose of acceleration for adrenaline junkies. Additionally, Eco, Ride, and Smart Eco modes provide a good balance between performance and range, making the 450 Apex suitable for everyday commuting as well.
The 450 Apex has a telescopic fork and monoshock. This design offers a good balance between handling and comfort, making the ride more comfortable for the rider.
In a bid to expand its retail presence and cater to the growing demand for electric scooters in Mumbai, Ather has inaugurated two new experience centres in the city. These centres, located in Thane and Panvel, will allow potential customers to get a closer look at the Ather product range, including the 450X and the 450 Plus. The expansion of Ather's retail network in Mumbai allows it to grow the trust that it needs to sell more units in Mumbai. Read more here.
