Ather Care Service Plans Introduced For Existing Customers From ₹1130 Onwards

The key target is for customers who have started to or have already transitioned out of the 3-year warranty period

Ather has announced that it will be starting to offer annual maintenance contracts for its existing customers. The contracts, or Ather Care service plans as the brand calls it, will offer the existing 450 customers a more convenient and cost effective way to get the TLC done for their e-scooters.

There are 3 plans devised for the buyers to choose from. Here’s what each one offers:

Ather Care	2 free periodic maintenance, a 10% discount on wear and tear parts once a year, and a 10% discount on labor for wear and tear replacements once a year.
Ather Care Plus	2 free periodic maintenance, 1 free polishing, 1 free wash, a 10% discount on wear and tear parts (twice a year), and a 15% discount on labor for wear and tear replacements (twice a year).
Ather Care Max	2 free periodic maintenances, 2 free brake pad replacements, 2 free washes, 2 free ExpressCare services, 2 free polishings, free belt lubrication, a 10% discount on wear and tear parts (twice a year), and a 15% discount on labor for wear and tear replacements (twice a year).

These plans are only valid for a period of 1 year or 10,000 km (whichever comes first) from the time of purchase. The plans are priced between ₹1130 and ₹2400 and these can be purchased from the Ather showrooms or service centres closest to you.

In terms of the wear and tear parts mentioned, only the following will be covered:

Wheel Pulley
Intermediate Pulley
Primary Belt
Secondary Belt
Brake Pads - Front & Rear
Motor Pulley
Wheel Bearing - Front & Rear
Front Fork Oil Seal

The above offers are only valid for the 450 series of scooters, i.e. 450X, 450S and 450 Apex, not the Rizta. Hence, if your Ather 450’s warranty period is about to end or you would rather save on the service charge, then you should really take a look at the above plans. Opting for either the standard Care package or Care Plus should really be beneficial for customers with low daily running and overall mileage. You should consider the Care Max only if your 450 has clocked in a lot of kilometres and will need a fair few part replacements.
