Audi India has added more than 5,500 charging stations in the country, in its second round of ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative. As a part of this initiative, all Audi e-tron owners will get complimentary charging till December 31, 2025, which can be accessed through the myAudi Connect app.
In addition to adding 6,500 charging stations, Audi India has partnered with 16 charge point operators (CPOs), including brands like Shell India, Adani Total Energies, Charge Zone, and Statiq.
The first round of the ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative was announced in May 2023, bringing many CPOs to its myAudi Connect app. Audi claims this reduces the hassle of downloading applications from multiple CPOs and accessing their network through Audi’s app.
With the new 5,500 charging stations, Audi now has more than 6,500 charging stations. These chargers are available in more than 4700 locations in over 850 cities across the country. Audi claims more than 75 per cent of these charging stations have DC fast charging support.
Currently, Audi has Q8 e-tron, Q8 e-tron Sportback, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT in its electric vehicle portfolio. It will also launch the Q6 e-tron in India this year, with it making its India debut in August last year.
