Audi India is launching the facelifted version of the Q7 SUV in India tomorrow. This will be the second facelift for the full-size luxury SUV from Audi which made its global debut earlier this year. Bookings for the Q7 facelift began earlier this month and it can be booked for a token amount of ₹2 lakh.
The Q7’s second facelift doesn’t come with a lot of changes except for a few cosmetic enhancements like matrix LED headlamps, new LED taillamps, revised front & rear bumpers and refreshed air intakes. The Q7 will come in five exterior colours – Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey and Glacier White.
The cabin of the Q7 facelift also remains largely unchanged. The infotainment touchscreen now allows users to download third-party apps. The virtual cockpit instrument cluster shows more driver-assist functions like lane-change warnings, distance alerts and more. The Q7 facelift will get two interior colours – Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige.
Mechanically, the Q7 remains unchanged as it continues to come with a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine churning out 335 bhp and 500 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive system. The Q7 will be assembled at the brand’s Aurangabad plant. While the outgoing version is priced between ₹88.66 - 97.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India), expect the new facelift to be priced at a slight premium, possibly finally breaching the ₹1 crore mark.
