Auto Sales August 2024: JSW MG Motor India Records 9 Per Cent Growth

JSW MG Motor India has reported a strong retail sales performance for August 2024, with 4,571 units sold. This represents a 9 per cent increase compared to the same period last year, when the automaker recorded lower sales in August 2023.

A significant highlight of the month was the contribution of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) to the overall sales. NEVs, which include models like the MG ZS EV—MG's flagship electric vehicle—and the MG Comet, accounted for over 35 per cent of the total units sold.

In addition to the sales figures, JSW MG Motor India is set to launch Windsor compact electric SUV, on September 11, 2024. This upcoming launch is expected further to bolster the company's presence in the Indian market.
