Royal Enfield’s export business continued to rake in impressive growth for the second consecutive month in 2025.
Royal Enfield’s aggressive product launch in 2024 is finally paying dividends. The Chennai-based bikemaker managed to dispatch more than 90,000 bikes again for the second consecutive month in 2025. It retailed 90,670 units, which might be a minute month-on-month sales decline of 0.51 per cent, but on a year-on-year basis it translates to a substantial 19 per cent increase against the 75,935 units it retailed in February 2024.
The majority of this sales growth came from RE's export business wherein it registered a healthy 23 per cent year-on-year increase. RE exported 9,871 units last month, as against the 8,013 units it dispatched in February 2024. However, on a month-on-month basis, exports have declined by 2.07 per cent, against the 10,080 units RE shipped in January 2025.

“This growth was aided by our strong product portfolio, which has been instrumental in helping us deliver pure motorcycling experiences to riding enthusiasts across the globe,” said B Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors, and Chief Executive Officer, Royal Enfield.
2025 will be quite the slow year for RE, compared to the product launches in 2024. The brand has the Classic 650 up next scheduled for launch, which is expected to happen soon. Recently, RE also officially showcased its first all-electric offering, the Flying Flea C6, in India. The retro-roadster-styled electric bike will go on sale in 2026, and while its specs are still under wraps. The bike is expected to weigh around 100 kg and should be good enough for city runabouts and for some occasional nearbout short distance trips.
