This sustained growth of Suzuki Motorcycle India was further enhanced by expansion of its network.
Suzuki Motorcycle India started 2024 with the registration of a double-digit year-on-year (Y-o-Y) sales growth of 13 per cent. The marque sold a total of 95,762 units in January 2024, which includes domestic sales of 80,511 units and exports of 15,251 units.
This sustained growth was further enhanced by the expansion of its network. In January, Suzuki Motorcycles India Private Limited inaugurated new dealerships with the most recent one being in Krishna Nagar, West Bengal.
Coupled with that, at the recently concluded debut Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the marque also showcased its two middleweight motorcycles in the form of the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE and the Suzuki GSX-8R. The showcase is a strong indication that Suzuki might be working on introducing them to our market.
The introduction of the GSX-8R and V-Strom 800DE will certainly give a much-needed boost to the brand’s product portfolio in India. Especially with its big bike offerings, Suzuki only retails the Hayabusa and Katana in India. Now when do we stand to gain these two new motorcycles is a tale for Suzuki to finish.
