Auto Sales July 2024: JSW MG Motor India Sales Down By 8.78 Per Cent

JSW MG Motor India has announced retail sales of 4572 units for July 2024, down from 5012 units sold in July 2023, a degrowth of 8.78 per cent. However, the company's New Energy Vehicle (NEV) portfolio continues to gain traction, accounting for more than 35 per cent of total sales for the month. In a strategic move to capitalise on the forthcoming festive season, JSW MG Motor India is set to launch the country’s first Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), the MG Cloud EV. This new addition to their lineup is expected to bolster the company’s market presence.

The sales figures indicate a minor year-on-year decline for July 2024 compared to the same month in 2023. However, the steady demand for NEVs highlights a positive shift towards sustainable automotive solutions. The share of NEV sales in July 2024 is a testament to the successful integration and acceptance of green technology within JSW MG Motor India's portfolio.
