Hyundai India reported sales of 64,201 units in September 2024, which includes 51,101 units sales in the domestic market and 13,100 exports. Compared to September 2023, overall sales in the month gone by have decreased by 10 per cent. However, compared to August 2024, overall sales saw a marginal 1 per cent growth.
As mentioned, Hyundai India sold 51,101 units in the domestic market in September 2024. Compared to the same period last year, domestic sales saw a decline of nearly 6 per cent. In contrast, sales in September 2024 saw a growth of 3 per cent compared to August 2024 (49,525 units).
Hyundai India exported 13,100 units in the previous month, registering a decline of nearly 25 per cent compared to September 2023 (17,400 units). Furthermore, exports in September 2024 were down by 4 per cent compared to the 13,650 units Hyundai India exported in August 2024.
Interestingly, Hyundai India also mentioned that CNG vehicles comprised 13.8 per cent of the brand’s total sales volume in September 2024. SUVs, the brand’s highest-selling segment, comprised 70 per cent of the total sales in the last month. Furthermore, the brand also sold nearly 5.78 lakh units from January to September.
