Royal Enfield's annual global ride returns on September 20 with a conservation mission for the Himalayas' iconic snow leopard.
Royal Enfield has issued a final call for registrations for One Ride 2026, its annual global motorcycling event that will take place on September 20, 2026. This year's edition carries added significance as the company celebrates its 125th anniversary. Held every year since 2011, One Ride brings together thousands of Royal Enfield enthusiasts on the same day across multiple countries, celebrating what the brand calls "Pure Motorcycling." For 2026, the event is expected to feature more than 1,600 rides across 60 countries, making it one of the largest coordinated motorcycle riding events in the world.
The theme for this year's event is "Every Rider. Every Road. One Mission." Unlike previous editions, One Ride 2026 has a strong environmental focus, with Royal Enfield dedicating the event to the conservation of the snow leopard, one of the Himalayas' most iconic and endangered species. Royal Enfield has announced that it will make a contribution towards snow leopard conservation for every rider who participates in One Ride 2026. The initiative reflects the brand's long-standing association with the Himalayas, a region that has become synonymous with Royal Enfield motorcycle expeditions and adventure riding.
The campaign expands the work already being carried out under the Royal Enfield Social Mission. The company's community conservation projects currently span Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Jammu & Kashmir, covering more than 10,500 square kilometres of snow leopard habitat. Royal Enfield says 53 square kilometres have already been brought under its community conservation programme. According to the company, India is home to an estimated 718 snow leopards, making conservation efforts increasingly important for the species' survival.
While the conservation work is based in the Indian Himalayas, the initiative has a global reach. Riders participating in cities such as Delhi, London, São Paulo, and many others will contribute towards protecting snow leopard habitats through their participation. Riders can register through their nearest Royal Enfield dealership or online via the official One Ride registration portal. Riding clubs and independent motorcyclists also have the option of organising their own rides as part of the global event.
