Thankfully, the passenger vehicles department has not been affected that much
Tata Motors has reported a steady August 2024 sales performance, selling 71693 units overall. In the domestic personal vehicle department, though, Tata sold 44,486 cars, roughly 1,500 less than what it managed in the same month in 2023. Here’s the passenger business performance:
Category | August 2024 | August 2023 | Growth (Y-o-Y) |
Total PV Domestic (includes EV) | 44,142 | 45,513 | -3% |
PV IB | 344 | 420 | -18% |
Total PV (includes EV) | 44,486 | 45,933 | -3% |
EV (IB + Domestic) | 5,935 | 6,236 | -5% |
Both the Punch and Nexon continue to be hot sellers for the brand. With the Curvv.ev joining the portfolio and the ICE version to be launched soon, one can expect Tata’s performance to improve in the coming few months.
The Curvv.ev takes the game forwards from the Nexon EV Max by offering more range, more space and better everyday performance. The pricing of the electric is slightly on the premium side. Does it justify the price tag well? Check out our review to know what we think about it.
