Unveils new Chetak 2901 model in the presence of Nitin Gadkari
Bajaj celebrated a major milestone, the sale of 19,000 Chetak electric scooters in Nagpur, in the presence of Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari. He also unveiled the company's latest electric offering, the Chetak 2901. This news comes right after the recent announcement of the Bajaj CNG bike Freedom 125 which was unveiled in his presence in Pune.
The Chetak brand has been a success story in Nagpur. To make the lineup more affordable the company has launched the Chetak 2901. As the most economical electric scooter in the Chetak lineup, the Bajaj Chetak 2901 boasts an impressive range of 126 km. The charging time for the scooter is around 6 hours. . It comes equipped with features like a coloured digital console, alloy wheels, and Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing comfort and convenience. Customers can further enhance their ride with an optional TecPac upgrade, which offers additional features like hill hold assist, reverse assist, multiple riding modes, phone and music controls, follow-me-home lights, and Bluetooth app connectivity. Bajaj Chetak 2901 is available in five colours, Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow, and Azure Blue.
Bajaj is trying to make electric scooters accessible. The company has significantly expanded its dealership network, with Chetak scooters now available at over 500 showrooms across India. Customers can easily locate their nearest showroom and explore product details and prices on the company's website. Also, the trust people have with the Bajaj Chetak name is being used to attract more traditional buyers.
