It was spotted on test alongside the Platina 110
Just weeks after Rajiv Bajaj confirmed the arrival of the bike, the upcoming Bajaj Bruzer 125 was spotted on test. The CNG-powered motorcycle is going to be quite unique and quite possibly a game changer for commuter motorcycles.
The Bruzer 125 was doing the routine pre-launch testing alongside a Platina 110. Bajaj might be benchmarking the CNG bike’s performance and range capabilities alongside its trusty commuter motorcycle as the Platina is one of the most frugal bikes in the country. And unlike cars with a dual fuel mode, the Bruzer is likely to run solely on CNG.
We had already unravelled the bike’s basic build earlier, when we got our hands on the design patent images of the same. And the design was vaguely revealed in a blurry photo too. However, the new image does reveal quite a lot more info.
As expected the seat is flat and spans more than half the length of the bike. But that was obvious as you would find the CNG canister situated right beneath it. The utilitarian approach does make sense with Bajaj opting to add a layer of ruggedness with the addition of the knuckle guards as well as a bash plate to this humble creation.
We should be getting to know more about this 125 cc commuter in the coming few months. Pricing of the same is expected to be on par with the likes of the Hero Super Splendor and the Honda Shine 125, which is roughly Rs 80,000 - Rs 85,000. However, the Bruzer 125 should be better in lowering the running costs, which is the whole point of this exercise from the Pune-based bike maker.
