This special edition model will be available for purchase on Amazon from August 5 onwards.

Bajaj Auto has launched the Chetak 3201 Special Edition in India, priced at ₹1.30 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). Based on the top-spec Premium variant, this new edition will be available for purchase on Amazon starting August 5.

The Chetak 3201 Special Edition features some visual upgrades over the standard Premium model. It comes exclusively in Brooklyn Black and sports 'Chetak' decals on the side panels. Other additions include scuff plates and a two-tone quilted seat; beyond that, the overall design remains unchanged.

Like its Premium counterpart, the Special Edition is equipped with a colour TFT display too that offers turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, call alerts, and customizable themes. The TecPac software package is also available here as standard, which subsequently gets you hill-hold control and an additional 'Sport' ride mode, as standard.

The scooter retains the 3.2 kWh battery pack from the Premium variant. However, Bajaj claims an improved range of 136 km for the Special Edition, up from the 127 km ARAI-certified range of the regular Premium model. The top speed remains unchanged at 73 kmph.

In the electric scooter market, the Chetak 3201 Special Edition will compete with models like the Ather Rizta Z (₹1.45 lakh), Ola S1 Pro (₹1.34 lakh), and TVS iQube S (₹1.46 lakh), all prices ex-showroom.
