The new Pulsar N160 gets premium suspension, updated colours and new features.
Bajaj has yet again updated the 2024 Pulsar N160. This time there have been visual changes in colours and graphics along with significant upgrades that might change the way this bike handles.

The 2024 Pulsar N160 now gets an Upside Down (USD) fork, replacing the standard telescopic fork. Unlike the Pulsar NS range, the N160 features this fork in a distinctive light gold colour that complements the motorcycle's all-black theme. Along with changes to the handling the suspension update is also expected to give the Pulsar a better ride and better visual appeal.
Speaking of a fresh look, the bike does have a design refresh with updated graphics on the fuel tank. The prominent "N160" lettering incorporates a chequered flag design. The model retains its dual-tone decals, maintaining a sense of design continuity.

Lastly the 2024 Pulsar N160 now features LED turn signals. This replaces the previous halogen units. This could have been done to keep the feature list fresh and add a more premium feel to the product.

The 2024 Pulsar N160 retains its core technical specifications. It continues to be powered by a 164.82 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that delivers 16 bhp and 14.65 Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The braking system utilises a 300 mm disc brake at the front and a 230 mm disc brake at the rear, both equipped with a dual-channel ABS for optimal stopping power in various riding conditions. The motorcycle also retains its nitrox monoshock suspension at the rear.

An earlier update in February introduced a fully digital instrument console for the Pulsar N160. This console offers Bluetooth connectivity through the Bajaj Ride Connect app, enabling features such as call and SMS alerts, turn signal status display, and phone battery level indicator. While turn-by-turn navigation is not available, these other offerings enhance the rider's experience and convenience. Additionally, a USB charging port provides a convenient power source for mobile devices.
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160 carries a price of ₹ 1,39,795 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This represents a slight increase from the previous model. The price difference between the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160 and the standard Bajaj Pulsar NS160 (both ex-showroom, Mumbai) is ₹ 6,906. However, the N160 is the newest option within its segment, offering competitive pricing against rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R, Suzuki Gixxer 155, and Yamaha FZ-FI.
