Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMS) has announced its sales for July 2026, and the company sold a cumulative (domestic + exports) 542,934 units, registering a marginal five per cent growth year-on-year, against 515,378 units sold in July 2025. The second-largest two-wheeler maker in the country sold 476,436 units in the domestic market, maintaining a flat 2 per cent growth over 466,331 units sold during the same month last year. Meanwhile, export demand continued to surge with 66,498 units shipped overseas, an impressive 35 per cent growth when compared to 49,047 units exported in July 2025.

Honda 2Wheelers India attributed the demand to a steady market. The company also said that its diverse product portfolio and expansive network of over 7,000 touchpoints across the country, further helped sustain the same. Notably, HMSI retails motorcycles and scooters from the entry-level 100 cc commuters to the 1833 cc Gold Wing tourer.

With respect to year-to-date (April - July 2026) sales, HMSI recorded total sales of 21,54,596 units, recording a 14 per cent growth when compared to 18,90,530 units sold during the same period in the fiscal. Domestic sales stood at 18,89,975 units, registering an 11 per cent growth, against 16,95,324 units sold between April and July 2025. Exports contributed 2,64,621 units, growing by 35 per cent, against 195,206 units shipped during the same period in FY2026.

July also saw Honda announce its two-wheeler onslaught for the Indian market with 10 new and refreshed models lined up for launch. The company has announced the CB500, ADV160 scooter, Rebel 300 and Rebel 500, XR 300L and XR 300L Rally, QC3 electric scooter, and more. While some of the offerings will make it to the market by the festive season, the rest are expected to spill into the end of the year, and even Q4 FY2027. The upcoming models will help Honda strengthen its presence in the premium end of the two-wheeler space.
