The C3 Aircross gets a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox sourced from Aisin. This gearbox is mated to the 109 bhp, 205 Nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and this powertrain debuted in Indonesia last year.
The automatic C3 Aircross also gets remote engine start and remote AC preconditioning, which are not available on the manual version. The features list remains unchanged and includes features like a 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-seat configuration with roof-mounted AC vents, a reverse camera, and more.
Cosmetically, the automatic version looks identical to the manual version. Apart from the new gear lever, nothing has changed inside as well. Interestingly, the C3 Aircross misses out on paddle shifters but has manual control on the gear lever.
The C3 Aircross rivals the newly refreshed Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the MG Astor.
