EA Sports FC 24 releasing on September 29: New Features & Pricing

EA Sports is preparing to release its highly anticipated football game, EA Sports FC 24. The FC 24 marks the first year without the FIFA branding in EA's annual football game lineup. The game introduces several new features and improvements, offering players an enhanced football gaming experience. It is scheduled for release on September 29th, 2023, and will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

EA Sports FC 24 New Features

EA Sports FC 24 boasts an extensive lineup of licensed leagues, with over 19,000 players, 700 teams, and 30 leagues, aiming to provide an authentic football gaming experience. EA Sports has secured exclusive licensing deals with prominent football leagues and will feature the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, and the Women's UEFA Champions League.

Additionally, the game will showcase other renowned leagues, including the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. The Premier League has also become an official partner of EA Sports, granting exclusive rights for player and club representation. The game will also feature an authentic replication of the Premier League's official scoreboard for Career Mode enthusiasts.

In terms of technology, the HyperMotion V captures volumetric data from over 180 real matches to create precise animations. This technology enables EA Sports to incorporate moments from live professional matches into the game, resulting in more realistic and authentic movement on the virtual pitch.

In addition, the FC24 is powered by an enhanced version of the Frostbite engine to deliver lifelike details. The engine has been overhauled to provide more precise body forms, movement measurements, and animations, making them feel more realistic.

The FC 24 also introduces Play Styles, a feature developed in collaboration with Opta. Play Styles go beyond overall ratings and allow players to experience the unique abilities and playing styles of their favourite footballers.

The FC 24 also includes women's football in the Ultimate Team mode for the first time. This addition expands the player pool and provides an opportunity to include famous female footballers alongside their male counterparts. The game consists of a range of women's competitions, such as Spain's Liga F, Germany's Frauen-Bundesliga, Barclays Women's Super League, Division 1 Arkema, and the National Women's Soccer League.

EA Sports FC 24 Pre-Order details

The EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition is up for pre-orders in India priced starting at ₹3499 for PC on Steam and Epic Games, ₹4499 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/Series X. The FC 24 Ultimate Edition is priced starting at ₹5199 (Steam/Epic Games) and ₹6499 (Xbox & PS).
