Both the bikes are designed in a manner to appeal to a younger audience.
Benelli had more than just a bunch of new motorcycles showcased at the most prestigious motorcycle show, the EICMA 2024. Besides the new TRK 902 Xplorer Concept and the latest Leoncino Bobber 400 – the Chinese-owned Italian also had two new adventure bikes for the European market. Both are part of the BKX range, called the BKX 125 and BKX 300.
Both bikes feature a nice slim body and they have been stylised to appeal to much younger demography. Powered by 125 cc and 300 cc single-cylinder engines, respectively - these bikes will qualify for an A1 license and A2 license, which will further see them relegated to the entry-level scene, for rookie riders. As for their output, the 125 cc mill produces 15 bhp/ 12 Nm, while the 300 cc mill produces 29.2 bhp and 24.5 Nm of peak torque.
The Benelli BKX 125 is built around a steel tube trellis architecture, but the BKX 300 S is built around the same too, but it combines it with a double lower cradle frame. Either way, both bikes will equip the same 41 mm USD fork with preload, and compression adjustability; and a monoshock. The seat height of both the bikes is also the same at 830 mm, with the same wheelbase of 1,426 mm and a 12-litre fuel tank. As for the features, being 125 cc and 300 cc bikes, we don’t expect them to be loaded with tech. However, we could gauge that it had a fully digital cluster.
Deliveries for both the BKX 125 and BKX 300 will start from next year onwards, from the first half of 2025. Will they arrive in India? Sadly no.
